June 22nd, 2017

Futures are down about .15% in the start of the Europe Trade. The Addition of China Shares into the MSCI appeared to hold up Tech/Biotech yesterday. Not much in econ news, Norway kept rates the same. Swiss’s foreign trade surplus increased in May, as exports grew faster. The trade surplus climbed to CHF 3.4 billion in May from CHF 1.9 billion in April. In March, the surplus was EUR 3.0 billion.

It really feels like a directionless market even though it is green. Being at historical highs and missing all of it to follow the progression of a bubble from start to finish was one of the dumbest ideas I ever had.

    All the political noise.

Love this article, it shows a satellite image of the areas China is building in. It confirms the low numbers in Shanghai etc. But, it also shows that the Chinese Speculators are moving to the Suburbs and building out there to avoid the regulations in the Tier One cities. http://www.atimes.com/article/satellite-map-tells-real-story-china-home-prices/

Swiss National Bank has bought enough stocks that each citizen there owns about 10,000.00 in equities. They have exposed their national debt to such a interesting level. If global stock markets tumble for whatever reason, then Swiss will just print more money to “buy the dips” until the Swiss People step in and say enough is enough for the Bankruptcy risk or the Swiss ACTUALLY loose save haven status?

BoA has already been questioning the Swissy, I like the part where they said the eur/chf is now a Risk On with a Put Protection. https://www.ft.com/content/a9a04776-19d7-11e7-a53d-df09f373be87

Panther..you around? I have never looked at the CHF/JPY before https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CHFJPY=X?ltr=1 It appears looking at a long data chart that in 2008 the Swissy was sold and moved into the Yen. Since 2012 or so the CHF has been bought vs the Yen pushing it higher cuz of Kuroda’s QQE probably? SNB is doing risky things, Japan is doing risky things…yet everyone is going there for safe haven??
